Our 2nd Anniversary!

Happy Anniversary to US!

Don't we just look PRESH???

I can't believe it's been 2 years!! Man time really does fly..Well we had a really, really awesome anniversary.. nothing outrageous.. just.. special :) We got ready after Jordan came home from school, went to I.F. and went straight to Target. We printed off a picture of us from our 1st Anniversary to frame and take a picture with THAT picture.. make sense? I saw this on Pinterest (yes.. pinterest.. my addiction) and totally stole the idea. Since we were at Target we decided to get some last minute things for the baby and for me (for my hospital bag) and we also got some of our favorite chocolates for later in the evening. muahaha.. Ferrero Rochets & Pot of Gold by Hersheys Box of Chocolates <3

So we got our pictures, went to the same area as last year's pictures and started to attempt to take our 2nd Anniversary Picture.. we set up the stand and camera and then it started blowing cold cold wind like CRAZY!! My bangs were getting all messed up and hair was flying everywhere.. Anyways, we got a few good pictures (shown below)

After Pictures, we went to Olive Garden and stuffed our faces.. and bellies...stuffed mushroom appetizer, strawberry mango & berry spritzer drinks, shrimp pasta & capellini del mar, and of course the breadsticks, toscana soup and delicious salad.. we were SO stinkin full.. can you say LEFTOVERS?

This is what I was talking about..

Kissy Kissy

After dinner we came home to this.. <3
We turned off all the lights and just had the candle light... We cleared the living room floor to make for our Dance Floor and we danced to Etta James "Atlast" (our first dance) I cried like a baby as we danced under our streamers lol (maternal..) then we sat down and read our cards. Precious..

We lit the candles, had the chocolates we bought ourselves ready to eat, Martinelli, and cards we made for eachother to read.. it was perfect.

Bubbly

Hello Bubbly

Then we got "comfy" and layed out a bunch of blankets on the floor, poured ourselves some bubbly, toasted to eachother, and then watched funny videos on youtube and ate chocolates while we waited for our movie to come on t.v. hahaha

I loved our anniversary.

Oh yeah and on the way home from Idaho Falls it snowed.. ugh.

Halloweenie 2011

Our VERY last minute costumes..
Me: Soccer Ball

Jordan: The Soccer Player

I cut my bangs and dyed my hair black this day..

The Story: So, we were invited to a Halloween Party and I knew for about a week but didn't have time to find a costume until the day of the party while Jordan was at work.. I flew solo and went to the D.I and Wal-Mart.. (the only places to shop around here) BOTH places were PACKED and annoying.. so I got frustrated and left with nothing. I went to pick up Jordan from work and got all maternal and told him I didn't have a costume.. I felt like crying.. and the party was 2 hours away.. So we go home and start thinking what we could do..looking in our closets to see what's we gots and BAM! Jordan suggested the quick and easy costume of me (Violet) being the soccer ball tummy and he would be the soccer player. I'm grateful for my husband.
Anyways, we went to the party and had a good time with our hilarious friends Courtney and Josh..Thanks guys!

Love,
P$

Food.. Something else I love.

OW! OW!

Pinterest...Thank you.
We had a different version of a jalapeno popper and it was so good!!
Cresent, cream cheese, bacon, jalapeno, and shrimp.. pop it in the oven at 350 degrees for about 9 minutes and DONE. Delicious and not at spicy as easing a WHOLE jalapeno..

Another night we had teriyaki grilled chicken over brown rice with stir fry and edamame.. it was so good..

Posole.. one of our FAVORITE things to eat.. This is my abuelitas recipe that my mom got and she makes it.. and now we make it.. this recipe is being passed on from generation to generation.. Gracias Abuelita!

We like to put everything in our Posole.. cabbage, lemon, raddish, fresh onion, red crushed peppers, salt to taste, and of course, the tostadas on the side.. *drool*

Love,
"P"

BABY SHOWER #3
Hosted by Nathalie Dixon

Everyone was asked to wear white for the baby shower :) Thanks everyone!
Some of the Games we Played:
1. Everyone had a cup with an ice cube in it and a button inside that ice cube..you have to watch your "baby" button and once your button was floating you have to yell, "MY WATER BROKE!!" I LOVED this game! It was so funny to hear the girls yell it at random times.. haha I'm gonna have to remember this game..
2. Everyone had to get as many or as little squares of toilet paper (not knowing why) and then once everyone had their squares, we went around the room and for every square you had, you had to give a piece of advice.. hahaha .. and everyone thought they were going to measure my tummy... lol one person had like 14 squares!

Thank you Natty for putting on this baby shower for me!
For dinner we had delicious enchiladas, green beans, cheese ball and crackers..
For Dessert we had crock pot chocolate &cherry goodness, lemon cupcakes, marshmallows dipped in white chocolate&sprinkles, and some SplasH20 for drinks :)

30 Weeks Down... 10 more to go!

The coolest part of being pregnant is feeling her move inside of me.. I've been able to feel her move since 21 weeks. Right now at 30 weeks, Jordan and I watch her move almost every night (around 11pm to be precise) and it's a really cool experience to have together.

So I'm 30 weeks and 3 days today. I've had an awesome pregnancy so far... At this point, the only hard part of being pregnant is moving. Moving in bed from side to side is a workout, putting my socks and shoes with buckles or laces on them is a challenge, and not being able to move or get up from a couch or the bed without the help of my wonderful husband.. I have to say that Jordan has been really, really awesome at helping me with anything that I need. He's always making sure that I'm comfortable and always helping with my shoes or lifting me up from bed.. I think I'm pretty lucky to have him.

Cravings:
Cold, fresh Lettuce whether it be on a sandwich, or salad, and anything Potato... French fries, Baked Potato, Mashed Potatoes, and Potato Salad to name a few.. Good thing we live in Idaho.. the Potato State.

Here we are at a Melaleuca steak dinner with some friends/co-workers.. we each got $25 gift cards to Texas Roadhouse too! We like our jobs..

Bee's' Knees Festival

Me and Natty!!

Jordan and Austin.. nice faces boys.

Today we went to Pocatello to meet up with Jordans mission buddies from Chile.. They hadn't seen each other since the mission.. almost 3 years ago!

Close up!

Our new Space...

So we just moved two weeks ago to a bigger and more spacious space. Our old apartment was nice but it was just a little too crowded..  Even tho moving such a pain in the butt.. it was well worth the move!
Violet's room

Mommy and Daddy's Room

Finally a roomy closet!!!

A double sink vanity.. another plus.

Downstairs..

The reddest couch you'll ever lay eyes on..

Kitchen.. obviously.
